British Rail is the national rail network which covers the whole of the countries, serving 2,500 stations. It is linked with Tube in London.
To save money and be a wise traveller, daily or weekly travel cards are recommended. You may have unlimited travel within the stated period in underground, bus, train, tram and light rails. For example, when a single fare in central zone 1 & 2 for underground costs you £4, a 1-day travel card costs you only £4.60, it entitles you to have unlimited travel in Tube, bus, train, light rail and tram. Black Cab the London taxi is much of an institution as the big red bus. Licensed taxi drivers must undergo strict tests and they are good guides when asked for travel information. Private mini cabs can be found in street or called, but need to ensure the cabs you call are licensed for security reasons.

London is one of the greatest shopping cities in Europe, with busting, lively street markets, world-famous department stores, and a wide variety of shops selling clothes, crafts and antiques.
